Portstewart Presbyterian Church is a family church, whether it’s our Sunday morning worship at 10:30 each week or the various youth and young people programs provided through the week or more in-depth teaching for adults, there is something for everyone
Sunday Service
We meet together for worship each Sunday at 10:30 am. In every service of worship we read from God’s word, sing to God’s praise and pray because God asks us to do so. We are a family church where everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter if you are a member, visitor or someone who hasn’t been to church for a while, in Portstewart you are simply one of us.
Creche
Available each Sunday from 10:30 am. Parents are welcome to leave children with our creche leaders or to stay with them and enjoy the opportunity for a chat.
Treasure Hunters
Bible stories, games and quizzes for children of primary school age. Children come into church at the beginning of the service before leaving for their own treasure hunter program which finishes at 11:30 am. A breakfast club is available from 10:00 am.
Bible Class
Applying the bible to real life situations for young people in year 7 – 10 from 10:30 am every Sunday. Our teenagers are in church at the beginning of the service before leaving for their own teaching program. They can be picked up again at 11:30 am.
Established
Is on each Sunday evening, September – June from 6.30pm until 8.00pm at the church hall for year 8 – year 13, we come together for food, games, chats, and bible time. It is a great place to have fun and learn more about God’s word and love.
Throughout the week
GB
In GB we aim to show the girls how living faithfully for God equips them to thrive in an ever-changing world. Explorers, age 3 to P4 meet from 6pm to 7:00pm and Company Section, P5 upwards meet from 7:00pm – 8:30 pm. Bible Studies
Our bible study meets on Thursday nights at 7:30 in the Minor Hall. This is an opportunity to explore God’s word in a little more depth compared to a Sunday morning. We do this as we answer pertinent questions based on the text but also as we bring our own questions that come from what we have read together.
Prayer and Praise
Prayer and praise is our time a time to meet for prayer and praise on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 6:30 pm. We take time to pray and give thanks for one aspect of our church ministry and asking for God’s leading as we seek to worship God, serve our community, and proclaim the name of Jesus.
Bowls Club

Art Club
Art club meets each Wednesday morning at 10:30 every Wednesday morning in the church hall. Whether you are an accomplished artist or a complete beginner this is a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of tea and some fine company while you explore or stretch your artistic talents.
Little Treasures
If you have children of pre-school age, if you’re wondering how you will entertain them this incoming year, why not come along to Little Treasures in Portstewart Presbyterian Church Halls, we’d love to see you on Wednesdays at 10am.
