Jesus can be known

Jesus Can Be Known Reading: John 14: 5–14 In this passage, Jesus assures His disciples that He is “the way, the truth, and the life,” and that through Him, we can truly know God. Today’s message reflects on how we can know Jesus personally and walk with Him in our daily lives.
This story is ultimately a story asking us who we trust for our salvation. Are we trusting in Jesus, believing and living that he has done everything for us, or our we trusting in our own efforts. #portstewartpresbyterian #presbyterianireland #storiesjesustold
Sometimes I wonder if we think the Christian life is a bit like rubbing Aladin’s lamp. We utter a quick prayer in the expectation that our wishes will be granted. This is not how Daniel approached prayer – he struggled, he wrestled, he tried to understand by studying and learning. Daniel worked at his relationship and his understanding of God. The more he studied, the more he realised he needed God’s revelation, and so he asked, help me Lord, explain to me Lord; God answered.
