We will take the next 30 days to read John’s gospel together. Take time to pray before you read, why not get a notebook and journal your thoughts and what God might be saying to you. Ask what changes the passage demands of us in terms of our relationship with God and one another. Here are some key questions you might want to answer in your journal.

  • What does this passage teach me about God’s character and nature
  • What does this passage teach me about humanity and myself
  • What is God revealing about his presence and work in my life right now

Let’s Pray

Next weekend is our communion season with pre-communion on Friday evening and services morning and evening in the church. Take time this week to thank God for the work of Jesus on the cross but also ask that he would search our hearts that we would confess and repent of those things in our lives that God wants to deal with.

Pray for our elders as they visit around the congregation this week in preparation for communion. Thank God for all they do.

Pray for our church over the next few weeks as we enter into a busy which includes communion, remembrance day and the radio ulster service.
