As a congregation, we are entering an important time in the life of our church with the election of new deacons, which will begin on Sunday 1st February.
In preparation for this, we have spent recent weeks focusing on what Scripture teaches about serving the church. Through a short sermon series, we have been reminded that the election of deacons is not simply about filling roles, but about faithfully following Christ’s example of service.
The series included the following messages:

- What We Are Elected To Do
- Why We Need To Serve
Each message encouraged us to reflect prayerfully on Christ’s call to serve His church, the character required of those who serve, and the responsibility shared by the whole congregation.
We encourage everyone to watch or re-watch the sermons linked below as we prepare for the election, and to commit this process to prayer, asking that God would guide us and raise up those He is calling to serve among us.
