Sunday the 7th of September at 10:30 am is our back to church Sunday. This is the Sunday we are encouraging anyone who at one time had a connection with the church, or even someone who has never had a connection with church, to come back or come along for the first time.
We know it can be daunting to come back into a place like a church after a long absence or even for the first time and so we are holding a Treasure Hunt on Friday the 5th of September at 6:30 pm to help overcome those first Sunday nerves. This will be an opportunity to have some fun, meet up with people we have known for a long time and to make some new friends along the way.

The big question that needs to be answered is what will it be like coming to church for the first time or after being away for a while.
Roy hadn’t been to church in many years. Like so many of us life just seemed to get busy and there were so many other things that needed to be done.
After dealing with a couple of life’s difficult moments Roy decided he would come back to church. We asked Roy how he had settled into being back with us.
I think you’ll have to put up with me for a while yet. I have enjoyed being here and part of church life again.
Danny, like Roy hadn’t been in church for a while but was a faithful member of the church bowling club. After being invited to come along on a Sunday by another member of the bowling club, Danny decided he would give it a go. Danny has been coming faithfully every week for a number of months now.
Coming to church has really helped my faith. I now want to hear everything that is being said, I don’t want to miss a single word.
