Sunday Mornings

The bible is at the heart of all we do because we believe it is in the word of God that we find the peace and rest we long for. You will be very welcome in Portstewart Presbyterian Church. Family is important to us and we cater for children of all ages, coming together for a time of family worship and bible reading, finishing with a cup of tea and opportunity to catch up with old friends or make some new ones.

Our service begins at 10:30 am and finishes at 11:30 after which everyone is invited to have a cup of tea or coffee in our link area. A time to strengthen old friendships and an opportunity to make new friends. Children and teenagers leave during the service for their own programs.

During the service for children

In Treasure Hunters Children of Primary School age explore the treasures of God’s love through bible stories and learn what it means to love God in return. Teenagers have their own bible class to make sense of the many issues that are at the forefront of their lives.

We also have a creche for those younger bundles of joy, while you are welcome to leave your children with our creche leaders or stay with them to enjoy a chat we are also welcome any child in the service, we’re just delighted to have your family with us.

Confident in the knowledge our children and young people are being well cared for the rest of us gather in the church where we seek to discover how our lives fit into the story of what Jesus has done for us through his life, death and resurrection.

Family is important to us in Portstewart and so our services begin with everyone in church together as we worship God in a way that is accessible for all ages.
